Jeddah, July ( وكالة الأنباء السعودية ۔ 16 يوليو 2026ء) The new route will operate three weekly flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, starting November 2026. Flights are now available for booking through Saudia’s digital channels and authorized sales outlets. The collaboration with ACP supports the development of connectivity with international markets, the launch of new routes and increased international flight frequencies.The introduction of direct flights between Saudi Arabia and Japan will strengthen tourism and commercial activity between the two countries while expanding access to the Kingdom.The new route also contributes to the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy, the National Tourism Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to establish Saudi Arabia as a leading global tourism destination and a logistics hub connecting four continents. The collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority reflects an integrated effort to promote the Kingdom’s diverse destinations. The authority is working with travel-sector partners and tourism agencies in Japan through creating travel packages and destination promotion, helping attract more visitors to Saudi Arabia.
It will support travel for tourists and visitors from Japan and strengthen the Kingdom’s readiness to welcome them.The addition of Tokyo carries strategic importance beyond traditional air connectivity.
